This Chislehurst project was for a client we had previously worked for, and we relished the opportunity of helping them once again to achieve their dream home goals. Our remit was to create a new room at the back of the house overlooking the garden, which would serve as a family living area.

The client wanted the extension to blend seamlessly with the existing building and to look as if it had always been there. With this in mind, we sourced exact matching bricks and roof tiles for the exterior, along with matching oak flooring and oak window frames. We also had on the job a bricklayer with over 40 years experience to ensure the bricklaying was the perfect match.

One of the greatest challenges we successfully faced on this project was the steel works that were required to open up the main house and initiate the new extension. Initially we had had some reservations about the degree to which this addition would enhance the property, but those doubts were completely unfounded and the end result speaks volumes. The client is really delighted with their newly-expanded home and has since reported that it’s the most popular room in the house for the whole family to hang out!

“All of Ben’s team worked extremely hard and were fully committed to realising the finished house within the projected timeline..”
