This prestigious residential property needed substantial extension and building alteration work which required particular care as the client remained in residence throughout the project. Working alongside the appointed architects, the Brooks and Gill team focused on creating contemporary open plan living spaces to complement the original building design.

We undertook a significant extension to the rear of the property which became the new kitchen with extra living space, affording the client a much more spacious and versatile interior lay out. Immaculate colour–matched brickwork and traditional sash windows were clearly compatible with the existing property style and a contemporary flair was added with the installation of huge lantern roof lights and a pair of full height aluminium French doors.

The Brooks and Gill builders successfully completed works at Wildernesse Mount in a manner which brought about a natural harmony between the existing style of the property and the modern finishes desired by the client – ‘old and new’ merging effortlessly as natural stone floors met state-of-the-art lighting.
